Askm..hi there. Lama betul tak update. Been very busy settling down. Alhamdulillah on the 4th September 2012, kami berangkat ke Leeds via MAS. From Malaysia to Amsterdam took us about 13 hrs flight. And rezki anak-anak we were upgraded to business class. Alhamdulillah. From Amsterdam to Bradford, Leeds dalam another 1 hour flight, naik city hopper.
So bermula lah our new chapter of life here. Independantly without families, on our own. Upon arrival , 2 of Malaysian students, fetched us with our large baggages, and sent us to our family host Kak Noraini and her husband Abg Fazli Ikram in Kirkstall, Edent Mount. Nice couple with 2 lovely daughters. They helped us a lot.
Mula-mula we planned just to stay bout 3 days in their house but end up 3 weeks. Our host family advice us not to rent rushingly anywhere without having proper agreement and good surroundings. It is safe to rent house under university but we have to wait a little bit . Worth waiting, we got a house under uni and Helmi's school is just 5 mins walk from home, although we pay a little bit higher than most of the Malaysian student that also renting under uni, it is worth it. Kalau rumah under uni, beauty of it, apa-apa rosak or you nk request just mail and the staff will come to clarify and check and they'll change or give what you want. Kalau you rent with independant landlord, you wont get this kind of treatment. But there again ni semua rezki ...Alhamdulillah
