While waiting for the house, we decided to get away form our host family, so we planned a short trip to Manchester where my cousin Aidzat Fadzlee is studying, next Liverpool and then Lake District. Last minute plan, we rented a car for a week..(13 September to 17 September 2012)

Before starting the journey, we picked up Adra and Aira's car seat from 2 different places. Beli second hand murah-murah aje since kt sini sangat strict on safety matters. After that we hit the road to Manchester. More or less 45 minutes from Leeds.

Sampai Manchester checked in hotel, then gi jalan2 town Manchester and then makan. Makan di 'Curry Mile'( gelaran road di Manchester where all the halal food and indian cuisines are).The restaurant we went to is Al- Jazeera. Memang terkenal because the food memang yummy.

The next day..visit the stadiums..Our tourist guide..Aidzat Fadzlee. We went to Manchester City Etihad Stadium and then Manchester United..Old Trafford. Walaupun I am not a big fan of football tapi bila dah sampai stadium tu, 'jiwa bola' ada sket la terasa. Melawat world richest football club. http://www.therichest.org/sports/richest-football-clubs/

After the stadiums..kena la balance, visit plak Manchester town where all the shopping centres are. Me like very much this activity. Nice town. Compared to Leeds, Manchester mmg ramai foreigners. So memang international faces everywhere.

Nice city but we have to move on to Liverpool since we have already book the hotel. From Manchester to Liverpool took us bout half an hour to 45 minutes. Since we travel at night after office hours tu yang sekejap aje kalau tak about 1 hour journey.

The next day, first place we go is the Stadium of course. Hajat encik Helmi nk melawat all the stadiums while we are here.

Initialy we wanted to join the stadium tour but we decided to come again later because we have very limited time. After visiting the stadium we went to Cheshire Oaks Designer outlet..half an hour drive from the stadium. Lalu tunnel and first time bayar toll since datang UK. Rarely ada toll here. Mersey Tunnel. Found bit of the history of the tunnel..Mersey Tunnel

After we spent time a few hours drolling, we head back to Liverpool from Birkenhead to Alber Dock. Tengok boats and visit The Beatles Store. Bila petang getting colder tapi nice to stroll along the water front.

After Albert Dock we move on to Kendal, check in hotel lagi. The next day we went to Lake District. Unfortunately is a very very wet day and we do not have proper attire to be in the rain although the place is so beautiful. Manage to snap few photos from inside the car. We definately will plan a trip to lake District again.

After taking snaps in the car we decided to go to a Factory Oulet called K Village in Kendal. Ada Clarks Outlet there. Spent few hours there. Besar jugak Clarks Outlet. Later in the evening we head back to Liverpool and do last minute check in. Before that we went and visit Helmi's friend and had dinner there.The next day we head back to Leeds but manage to stopover at Warrington IKEA.

This is so called our first Journey travelling in UK driving since we arrived on 5 September 2012. Plan and unplanned. Nice to see the scenary, to feel the weather and experience the culture. Alhamdulillah..
