Daging Malabari

Another addiction... Cooking daging Malabari. Went to a friends house in Beeston, she cooks delicious Malabari meat ( thank you Fid). Asked her the receipe and she shared ..Something different from our own Rendang daging.

The ingredients are ;
Main ingredients meat cut into small cubes

Blend
-onions
-garlic
-a little bit of ginger

Using no oil just fry dried chili and jintan (salai) for quite sometime. Smp kering..

Blend the fried chili and jintan..

Then put all the blended ingredients in a bowl with the meat. Mixed them and put them in fridge for few hours or a day.

Cook the refrigerated meat all together with the ingredients without oil ( what she told me) add soy sauce (sweet), sugar n salt and tamarind or asam keping.. Cook till dry or if you prefer a little bit gravy not too dry..makan dgn nasi panas or cicah roti.. Yummy.
