Lepas Subuh, we start our 6 days journey to Scotland. There are 7 adults plus 4 kids , so we travel with 1 MPV 8 seater and a Sedan car. First place we plan to go is Edinburgh. From Leeds to Edinburgh it takes 4 hours journey. It was very cold and forecasted to be snowing in Scotland.
Tengah jalan lapar, berhenti and makan. At the border, we stopped and snaped few pictures. Then we head to Edinburgh. The scenary was splendid. The untouched version of UK. Cantik sangat the country side, the farms and the houses.
Due to winter time, malam cepat so by the time sampai dah gelap. 3 o'clock dah start gelap, Maghrib. So bila travel time winter we have to make full use waktu pagi. Bila travel have to start pagi.
Bila sampai straight away checked in the apartment we booked. Cantik sangat, ada 3 tingkat. the kitchen on the 2 floor. When we travel in group is better to book an apartment rather than single room, it is much cheaper when you share out the cost. Especially if you want to cook it is much comfortable. Unless if you plan not to cook or last minute booking the price is higher than single room is more suitable.

Love the apartment very much. The kitchen fully equipped with kitchen nett plus dish washer also the capsule. Memang tak risau nk bawak dish drop..Most apartments that we rented in Scotland they will provide fresh milk and bread ..complimentary katanya..

Back to the our journey, after checking inn we heat up our food and have dinner.Then all of us decided to go strolling . Rugi datang jauh-jauh then just stay in the room. There are so many things to explore to capture the beautiful place in a short time so why waste it. That is the purpose we go holiday. The place we stayed is just behind Edinburgh old town memang cantik. We walked from the old town to the new town. Edinburgh is really beautiful. In the middle of the town you can see the castle up on the hill and the buildings are simply magnificiant. Memang sejuk, everybody are properly bundled up but the stroll was really worth it.
The old town version of Edinburgh ada banyak old pubs, book store and heritage shops.

The new town of Edinburgh, as usual all the big stores Mark and Spencer, H&M, all the big brands that are common in the UK. Most of the town I have been, all these brand stores memang ada. So you dont have to travel far if you crave for these brands. Except yang I perasan Harrods memang only in London. So bila dah a few months tinggal kat sini, my husband and me would prefer shopping in Leeds or other small town. It is not crowded and dengan tenang you can shop. We will only go to London to find the rare.

Lepas stroll back to the apartment to rest and get ready for day 2.
The next day after checked out we went to Edinburgh Castle took few snaps and began our journey to next destination Aberdeen..see ya in the next entry..
