South France Trip - Cote D'zur (French Riviera) - Maresille Day 1 & 2

Before winter comes we were really excited to see the snow but after 4 to 5 months of winter weather we definately need spring and summer months to come. Last Easter holiday we planned a trip just to get away from the extreme cold weather that doesn't end..we flew to South France where Mr.Sunshine is there and it is 16c compared to -2c..What a relief..

We managed to get cheap flights and we rented a car there. Our 6days trip started from Marseille then we drove to Aix Provence, Avignon,Cannes, St. Tropez,Monaco, Grasse and depart to UK from Nice. But really in France u need to know a little bit of their language. They do not speak English (although many of them knew), fortunately we have a translator with us who lives in Paris...huhuhu my sister. Most of the talking negotiation done by her although I knew a little bit of French but they speak really fast.

South of France is totaly different from Paris of course. Paris busy town everybody in hurry..not in south. Weather are warmer, people are more relaxed and they have beautiful Riviera. When we drove along the coast you can see the sea with lots of yatches and big beautiful houses. Oh we are so grateful that we are given this opportunities to see this part of the world. Alhamdulillah.

Marseille is a big city. We actually stayed 3 nights in Marseille. Stayed in Adagio Apartment with 1 bedroom plus 1 sofa bed and with kitchen.http://www.adagio-city.com/gb/booking/hotels-list.shtml

Halal food is easy to find in Marseille. The minute we arrived the apartment my hubby went to buy some groceries for me to cook. That night after dinner we rest to prepare for the next day.
